Resin Casting

Resin casting is a process by which you can duplicate a
part for modeling. The link below will
open a pdf document that explains the basic process of resin casting. This particular process was
developed by me over several years when I was manufacturing TT scale models in small numbers.
The products that I used were from Smooth-On inc. For the molds, I used Mold Max 30.
For the resin, I used Smooth Cast 320. There are other products available, but these worked better
for me.
